Iran executes man accused of aiding US, Israel in anti-government protests
The judiciary said his appeal failed and the court confiscated his property after convicting him of working for hostile countries in protest-related unrest.

- Iran Human Rights, an NGO based in Norway, and Together Against the Death Penalty, headquartered in Paris, reported authorities executed at least 1,639 people last year, a record high since 1989.
