- Israel first struck the site in October 2024 and again during Operation Roaring Lion in March 2026, after intelligence linked the underground location to the AMAD Project, Tehran's alleged secret nuclear weapons effort.
- Vantor Technologies imagery from Sept 13 shows construction vehicles operating across the site, where crews added concrete apron reinforcements to provide 'additional blast protection from an aerial attack,' the Institute said.
- Repair work began in June and continues as a large tarp now hides the structure from satellite observation, indicating Tehran's persistent commitment to reconstructing the facility despite previous damage.
- The Institute warned that reconstruction is a 'deeply concerning development' given the site's long history of nuclear weapons research, stating 'Significant questions remain as to Iran's plans for the facility.
