After an accident with four trucks involved in the Vösendorf tunnel on the Vienna outer ring expressway (S1) on Friday, the state criminal office of Lower Austria is investigating. Banknotes were transported in containers in one of the vehicles, according to media reports, when the impact occurred. Surveys are now supposed to determine whether they were contraband, a police spokesman confirmed on Tuesday on request.
