Intra-Asia spot rates on the up as Chinese New Year beckons

Intra-Asia rates rose again in the last two weeks of November, as shippers and carriers in the region begin to look towards Chinese New Year. Drewry’s Intra-Asia Container Index showed a 6% increase from the first two weeks of last month, averaging $667 per 40ft.
