Inmate assaulted at Agassiz prison
Correctional Service Canada (CSC) recently reported an assault at Agassiz’s medium-security prison. The CSC stated that on April 27, a single assailant attacked a fellow inmate at Mountain Institution. The CSC staff evaluated the victim and transported him to outside hospital to treat injuries; the inmate has since been returned to the institution following treatment.
