The Tuzla County Prosecutor's Office has filed an indictment against seven people it considers responsible for the deaths of 17 and injuries to 30 elderly people in a fire that broke out in a retirement home in Tuzla last year.
As the TK Prosecutor's Office said, the indictment was brought against the former director Mirsad Bakalović (50), Zinaida Razić Halilović (47), the head of a service in the House and who, on the order of the director, actually performed the work organization and scheduling of employees and a member of the Board of Directors, and Mustafa Azabagić (67), who performed the duties of the fire protection and occupational safety officer in the House.
All seven defendants allegedly failed to provide, propose or order prescribed fire protection measures.
