- Gross direct tax collections increased 19.75% to ₹9.55 lakh crore during the period, while Securities Transaction Tax revenues surged 51% to ₹33,824 crore.
- Sidhwa noted that gross corporate tax collections are growing at a "more modest 14%," while expecting the pace of refunds to increase over the next few months.
- Tax collection growth has consistently risen throughout the fiscal year, from 14.6% recorded in mid-June to 16.4% by mid-July, reflecting a steady upward trajectory.
