- HAL resolved engine delivery delays through a multi-million-dollar deal with Honeywell for 88 engines, with 72 units to be manufactured in India under Technology Transfer. HTT-40 content targets 60 per cent indigenization.
- Supporting the Ministry of Civil Aviation's UDAN regional connectivity scheme, the induction engages private suppliers like Larsen & Toubro and Tata Advanced Systems across Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu.
- Friendly foreign nations in Southeast Asia, South America, and Africa view these indigenous platforms as competitive alternatives to Western and Chinese models, while HAL aims to expand commercial civil aviation to 25 per cent of corporate turnover.
