New Delhi. Signs of strain have emerged in relations between India and Bangladesh over the 2026 BRICS Summit in Delhi. Amid anger over Bangladesh Prime Minister Tariq Rahman not being invited to the BRICS summit, Dhaka has now spoken of initiating a review of bilateral agreements with India.

Dhaka: The Bangladesh government is currently undergoing a comprehensive review of 101 agreements and memorandums of understanding signed with India during the previous government, according to the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
