'Incel' teenager who collected bomb-making videos and threatened school shooting is jailed
Dihan Rahman admitted stalking two schoolgirls and holding terrorism documents, and a judge said the campaign was persistent and highly intrusive.
On Wednesday, Dihan Rahman, 19, was sentenced to four and a half years in prison at the Old Bailey for stalking two teenage girls, a teacher, and possessing documents useful for terrorism.
Rahman terrorized the victims after one girl rejected his romantic advances shortly after he moved to a new school, bombarding them with abusive messages and threatening to 'ruin' their prom.
Evidence revealed Rahman administered an extreme right-wing network on Telegram and collected bomb-making guides, holding what prosecutors called a 'mixed' ideology including antisemitism, Islamic State support, and Nazi imagery.
Judge Simon Mayo KC called the stalking 'persistent, calculated and highly intrusive,' noting victims lived in constant fear and altered their routines, with one changing colleges and the prom relocated twice.
Commander Helen Flanagan of Counter Terrorism Policing London warned this case reflects a growing trend of young people consuming extremist ideologies online, urging the public to report suspicious activity.
