An unusual candidate has been fielded in Měrovice nad Hanou in the Přerov region, where fifteen Romani men and women are running for the municipal council in the municipal elections for the KDU-ČSL. The majority of the candidates are members of the Pomp and Ondič families, members of one large Romani family that has lived in Měrovice for several generations. The leader is 27-year-old teacher's assistant Aneta Pompová.
