According to an internal analysis prepared for the government before the spring elections in 2026, the majority of Hungarians consider the state of healthcare, the economic situation and the Orbán government's policies themselves to be a national shame. The government paid one billion forints for two turn-of-the-century studies that revealed how much trouble they were in. Both studies involved 60,000 people, and both materials were submitted in March this year, a little over a month before the election. However, Századvég's social media analysis seems to be completely wrong; for example, they did not include Péter Magyar's Facebook page in their February data set.
Several details have been revealed about the public opinion polls that the Századvég Institute conducted during the last period of Viktor Orbán's prime ministership at the request of the government.
Judging by the numbers, up to the age of 59, the majority were dissatisfied with their performance.
The Fidesz government could already see in March how dissatisfied Hungarians were - However, this goes against the communication before the elections.
Healthcare, economy, government policy: these were the areas most complained about in the Rogán ministry's measurements.
