In Mali, the attacks on tanker trucks by jihadists affiliated with al-Qaeda have resumed. Dozens of trucks carrying fuel were destroyed last week and hundreds of thousands of litres of gasoline left in smoke. On Sunday, 1 February, there was still no news of a dozen drivers of the convoy. To deal with the situation, the Malian authorities decided to deploy means to "secure" the next month of Ramadan.
