- After escaping a rape attempt at a farmhouse on the Atrasi-Hasanpur road, the victim contacted police at 6 am Wednesday, prompting teams from Hasanpur and Rajabpur police stations to rescue her and apprehend all four accused.
- Authorities initiated departmental proceedings against the local sub-inspector and recommended strict disciplinary action against the two paramilitary personnel. Hasanpur Kotwali in-charge Amar Pal Singh noted the farmhouse reportedly belongs to an independent MLA from Uttarakhand.
