The number of digital ruble accounts opened by citizens in the month following the project's scaling up on 1 September exceeded 220,000, and announced at the FinTech x10 forum at Zulfy Kahrumanov, the deputy of the Bank of Russia.
During the first month, Russians opened more than 220,000 accounts in digital rubles, said Zulfiya Kakhrumanova, Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank. “I must say that our forecasts for opening accounts by the end of this year were very accurate.
