Former ČSSD MP Petr Wolf from Ostrava, who has been serving a six-year prison sentence in the Litoměřice prison since last autumn, wants to apply for early release. However, he now faces another trial for failing to report to prison in 2012 after being convicted of subsidy fraud. It later emerged that he had fled to Paraguay. He returned from there with a police escort a year ago.
