IMPD officers shoot wanted suspect on Indy's east side

INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis police are investigating after officers shot and injured a suspect while trying to take him into custody. Indianapolis Metro police officers were called around 5:50 p.m. Thursday to the 900 block of Grant Avenue for an active investigation into a wanted male.
