An imam and a few worshippers narrowly escaped death after unidentified persons allegedly tried to set the mosque on fire in Haryana late on Wednesday night. A fire broke out inside a mosque in Tikri Brahmin village in Palwal, Haryana, around 1:25 am on March 11 while an imam and three worshippers were observing Itikaf during Ramzan. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
