In an operation conducted by Coast Guard teams in Göcek, Fethiye, 35 irregular migrants were apprehended. Legal proceedings were initiated against two suspects detained on charges of migrant smuggling, while the apprehended migrants were handed over to the relevant authorities.
Fifteen illegal immigrants, including eight children, were apprehended by Coast Guard teams on land in the Seferihisar district of Izmir. The immigrants, who were determined to be attempting to illegally cross abroad, were transferred to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management after their procedures were completed.
