The savings packages have been pouring in at Ikea for the past six months. Now another notice is coming. This time, 60 jobs in Älmhult and 15 in Uppsala are at risk of disappearing.
Ikea in Uppsala wants to reduce its staff – but at the same time hire more. The result will still be that fewer people work at Ikea than when the department store closed in the spring of 2025.
