Igho 'Tiny' Ubiribo, a 43-year-old British-Nigerian influencer with more than 185,000 Instagram followers, was buried in London in a gold coffin reportedly worth $745,000 after dying in Thailand.
Following a penis enlargement procedure in Bangkok on March 5, Ubiribo died from a pulmonary embolism. The procedure involved injecting 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine at an unnamed clinic.
Evidence from the Inner West London Coroners' Court inquest revealed that while Ubiribo and his wife, Daniella Simba Allen, were receiving a massage, he complained of chest pain and lost consciousness multiple times.
His funeral attracted significant attention after reports that he was laid to rest in the gold coffin said to cost upwards of $745,000. The burial concluded his repatriation to London.
A U.K. coroner confirmed to TMZ on Saturday, September 5, that Ubiribo suffered a pulmonary embolism during the cosmetic surgery. The diagnosis marks the official medical cause of his death.
