- On Dec. 5, 2025, IBM was designated by the European Supervisory Authorities as a critical ICT third-party provider under the Digital Operational Resilience Act , placing it in-scope for ESA supervision.
- DORA is an EU regulation designed to ensure banks, insurance companies and investment firms and their critical ICT providers can withstand and recover from technology disruptions, strengthening operational resilience across Europe's financial ecosystem.
