The Brazilian cattle herd closed 2025 with 234.3 million head, a decrease of 1.7% compared to 2024. It is the second consecutive annual fall, according to the Municipal Livestock Survey, released on Wednesday (30) by the IBGE. The institute ranks the number as the lowest since 2022, when the country had 234.9 million animals.
