IAM steps up checks on unsafe signs

The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) inspected more than 1,430 advertising signs across Macau in the first half of 2026 and removed six dangerous or abandoned signs. The bureau said inspections will be stepped up during the typhoon season from March to October.
