I believe that an argument could be made to justify the astronomical salaries paid to many of today’s professional ball players. At first glance, these multi-million dollar contracts would seem to be absolutely ridiculous. Even diehard fans have weighed-in, “There’s no way that a Major League baseball player should be paid 30-million dollars a year to play a kids’ game…”
