Warrenton’s contentious change in leadership is moving forward after a heated Town Council debate with allegations of cronyism and incompetence. At its meeting Tuesday, the council voted 4-2 to hire Mark Dycio of Fairfax-based Dycio Biggs as its interim town attorney. It also voted 4-2 to hire Bridgewater-based Berkeley Group to provide an interim town manager and look for a permanent replacement.
