Hydro One designated in priority construction of Ring of Fire transmission line

The 230 km line will unlock 350-700 MW of power, create over 7,000 jobs, and retain 93% of project spending in Canada, supporting northern communities and mining growth.

The Government of Ontario has declared the Ring of Fire’s 230-kilometre Greenstone Transmission Line a priority project and designating Hydro One to develop and construct it.
