Hydrant flushing keeps water system sound

Starting in April, Castle Pines North Metro District (CPNMD) began an important annual maintenance activity that helps ensure safe, reliable drinking water for the community: fire hydrant flushing. While it may initially seem like a waste of water, this process plays a critical role in maintaining the overall health of the water system. Flushing maintenance projects will be completed in July.
