The Danish audio group Demant, a leading manufacturer of hearing protection devices, will initiate a cost-cutting exercise that is expected to affect approximately 700 employees globally, of which approximately 150 are employed in Denmark. The announcement was made on Tuesday, when Demant published its annual accounts for 2025. The group aims for annual savings of 500 million kroner. Demant is headquartered in Smørum near Ballerup.
The Danish C25 company states that 150 of the 700 will have to be located in Denmark.
