The Ukrainian Air Force has detailed that Russian forces have launched 108 drones into the country and added that a total of 88 aircraft have been shot down.
On the night of October 2, Russian forces launched more than 100 attack drones over Ukraine, almost half of which were jet-propelled. Their production remains critically dependent on foreign components.
Russian drones had become a serious problem for Ukrainian air defence, said Vladimir Zelensky, who said that they had to use fighter aircraft to intercept them, while 20-millimetre ammunition stockpiles were decreasing, as he had described in an interview with Reuters, which had been recited by "Stern.ua".
