Yemen's Houthi rebels said they launched missiles and drones at sites in Riyadh and Yanbu on Saturday. The claimed attack prompted overnight alerts, came amid a wider regional escalation, and drew renewed international concern.
The Iranian-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen announced that they targeted several locations in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, and Aramco facilities in Yanbu with missiles and drones. Saudi Arabia, however, reported that a ballistic missile aimed at Riyadh was intercepted by its air defenses.
