Household Energy Prices Fell Slightly Overall in August

The trend in household energy prices showed a mixed picture in August. While electricity and gas became slightly more expensive compared to the month before, prices for fuel and fuel fell significantly after a high in July. Overall, the energy price index (EPI) of the Energy Agency showed a decrease of 0.4 percent compared to the month before, while prices rose by 5.9 percent in the annual interval.
