House votes down bill to open bear hunting in Mississippi - Daily Leader

Mississippi state representatives recently voted down Senate Bill 2436, a bill to authorize the first black bear hunt in nearly 100 years.  The legislation passed the Senate but was voted down 60-50 in the House on March 10.
