In Izmit district of Kocaeli, a mother and son were brutally beaten after they warned a group of people who were swearing in a cafe on a holiday. Meryem Yıldırım, 39, was left unrecognizable with numerous fractures to her face after being kicked and punched, and is currently receiving treatment. The incident was captured on camera. Describing the horrific events, Yıldırım said, "No human being could do this."
