For the 39th consecutive summer, downtown Belding transformed into a sea of basketball courts, bouncing basketballs and cheering crowds as the annual Gus Macker 3-on-3 basketball tournament returned home for another weekend of competition. From young children playing in their first tournament to seasoned veterans chasing another championship trophy, thousands of players and spectators filled the streets over the weekend.
