A memorial rally for the devastating fire that broke out in a high-rise apartment complex in Tai Po, northern Hong Kong, was held in Tokyo on the 6th. Approximately 300 people, including Japanese and Hong Kong residents in Japan, attended and observed a moment of silence. Electronic candles were lit and message boards were posted with messages like "Hong Kongers, keep up the good work!"
