The cluster brings together more than 30 universities and research institutions to advance energy, materials and advanced manufacturing research.
- Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation launched SEAM@InnoHK, a third research cluster focused on sustainable development, energy, and advanced manufacturing, at Hong Kong Science Park today.
- As a flagship initiative of the HKSAR Government, InnoHK aims to develop Hong Kong into a global scientific hub; HKSTP has nurtured more than 17,000 research professionals and supported over 2,400 technology companies across 25 years.
- The R&D centres feature collaborations with over 30 global universities and research institutions, including participation from Nobel Laureates Sir Konstantin Novoselov, renowned as the "Father of Graphene," and Professor Ben L. Feringa.
- Research centres aim to lead global manufacturing toward Industry 5.0 by integrating AI and advanced materials, empowering teams to transform breakthrough research into scalable, high-impact commercial solutions.
