Dozens of firefighters battled the massive blaze in Mount Pleasant Road, New Malden for several hours on Saturday night and into Sunday morning

70 firefighters attended a house fire in New Malden last night.

Both floors were completely destroyed, with half the roof damaged in the two-storey semi-detached house in Mount Pleasant Road. A car port in the front garden was also destroyed in the blaze. No injuries have been reported, with the cause of the fire under investigation.
