Problems with air travel, disappointing accommodation and trouble with rental cars have clouded the holiday for many travellers this year. Almost every second travel complaint received by the Chamber of Labour (AK) in the summer concerned air travel.
Flight failures, impermissible fees with Ryanair, deficiencies in the hotel or problems with the rental car: For many travelers from Austria, the holiday period did not go without frustration. This is shown by a recent evaluation of 544 holiday complaints by the Association for Consumer Information (VKI) on behalf of the Chamber of Labour (AK) for the months of July and August.
