Hiker rescued after drinking, passing out in Bald Mountain fire tower

Forest rangers responded to a call to assist a hiker who fainted at the top of the Bald Mountain fire tower on April 18. Witnesses reported seeing a 36-year-old from Gouverneur drinking with another hiker. Forest Ranger Lieutenant Bills and Rangers Lee, Piersma and Waligory responded.
