Highway 17 still closed after Wednesday evening fire in Laurentian Valley
The Laurentian Valley Fire Department is still on the scene this morning after a commercial vehicle reportedly caught on fire on Highway 17 near White Water Road on Wednesday evening. Fire Chief Tim Sutcliffe says the his crews were able to extinguish the blaze as of around 7:30 am on Thursday, but did not provide details on when the highway would be reopened.
