St. Bernard, CCD Lead All-Ohio Football Honors for Divisions VI, VII
The Ohio Prep Sports Media Association honored top Division VI and VII high school football players, coaches, and defensive stars in the 2025 All-Ohio teams.
- Monday, the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association named the 2025 Division VI and Division VII All-Ohio Football Teams, posting the lists Monday afternoon with an update Dec. 8, 2025.
- Chosen by a statewide panel, the All-Ohio teams were selected by sports writers and broadcasters and the remaining divisional lists will be released Tuesday through Thursday.
- Division VI honors featured Jake LaVerde, Austin Buescher, William Zeedyk and Braxton Leeth as offensive players of the year, Payne DeGray as defensive player, and Gary Quisno as coach of the year.
- Locally, Crestline led with five honorees including tight end Kieran Barnett, who had 28 receptions for 559 yards and five touchdowns, while seven area players earned honorable mentions.
- With the season over in Canton, the All-Ohio rosters include Drew Walter, Oberlin, and 5-5, 103-pound kicker Derrick Mahaffey, while Ohio's Mr. Football, Grady Kinsey of Indian Valley, was announced last week.
