Grace Meyers tossed a complete game with two strikeouts and went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead High Point (9-4) to a 7-6 victory over Vernon in Vernon.Vernon jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first inning, but High Point responded with a run in the second to cut the deficit to 2-1. Vernon extended its advantage to 3-1 with a run in the third inning before High Point plated two runs in the fourth to tie the game at 3-3.
