Damage from the recent Kona low storm will require Konawaena High School to close to students next week while most of its instructional spaces undergo professional cleaning and repairs.

The Hawaii State Department of Education continues attending to nearly 300 work orders for storm damage to campuses statewide, and in one case where Konawaena High School will be doing distance learning next week.
