The historic Ramappa Temple (Rudreshwara Temple) of the Kakatiya period, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is under threat from mining activities, it has been claimed.
The Kakatiya Heritage Trust has requested Union Minister Kishan Reddy to protect the World Heritage Site of Ramappa from Singareni opencast mining.
