Dooly County Coroner Brett Walls confirmed the deceased victims were men, ages 20 and 23. Witness Ashley Gee told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution the barrage sounded 'like a machine gun.'
Victims were transported to multiple hospitals for treatment, and the Georgia Bureau joined the investigation at the sheriff's request. The Dooly County School System announced additional safety measures for schools opening Oct 5.
The shooting follows a confrontation last week in Macon where 12 teens were wounded at a birthday party. Authorities remain on the hunt for suspects, describing Vienna operations as 'active and ongoing.
