The Commission de régulation de l'énergie estimates the full cost of production of the French nuclear fleet for the period 2026-2028 at €60.3/MWh. This indicator is crucial in the system which will replace the regulated access to historical nuclear electricity (Arenh) on 1 January.
At the end of September 2025, the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) published a new estimate of the full cost of producing historic nuclear electricity for the period 2026-2028: €60.3/MWh (base price 2026), i.e. around €61.5/MWh in current euros.
