The state aid granted to diesel carriers will no longer remain at 85 dollars per litre during periods when the excise duty will be reduced at national level. The government has modified the compensation scheme, and the refund will be 71, 57 or 43 dollars per litre.
On Thursday, the Government approved the HG amendment establishing the State aid scheme to compensate for the increase in the price of diesel fuel, so that "the value of the excise refund granted to carriers will be determined in relation to the national rate of reduction of excise duty".
The government reduces aid for transporters to 71, 57 or 43 dollars per litre, after diesel has exceeded 10 lei in Bucharest.
The Government approved the amendment to the Government Decision on the establishment of the state aid scheme to compensate for the increase in the price of diesel, so that "the value of the excise tax refund granted to transporters will be established in relation to the excise tax reduction step activated at national level", writes Agerpres.
The government has decided to change the fuel compensation granted to transporters. If before they received a reduction to the engine of 85 money/litre, now the cost will be calculated according to the decrease in the excise duty. Thus, three steps of reductions will be granted: 71, 57 or 43 money/litre.
