Helicopter Called in to Fight Fire Near Warda | The Fayette County Record
Helicopters dumped water on the Whirling Pines Fire along Highway 77 in Warda Monday. Initial estimates of the fire’s size has been scaled back from 40 acres to 25 acres. No injuries have been reported. The fire started when a tree fell on a power line.
