On Wednesday afternoon there was a large deployment of the forces on the A1 between the exit Traun and the rest station Ansfelden after a serious accident.

A chain reaction on Wednesday on the West Autobahn (A1) near Ansfelden (Linz-Land district) triggered a multi-vehicle collision that left 14 people injured: A car suddenly braked hard, causing the emergency braking system of the truck behind it to activate and bring the semi-trailer to a stop. The drivers of a following motorhome and a tour bus were unable to avoid a collision, and the three vehicles crashed into each other, according to police.
